This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the Rūbas marketplace uses, what they do, and how you control them. The list is short — deliberately.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files your browser stores on your device so a site can recognise you between pages or visits. Browser local storage works similarly — data kept on your device. This policy covers both.
Our principle — as little data as possible
We collect only what's genuinely needed. Rūbas sets only cookies the site can't work without, and enables analytics tools only after you consent. We use no advertising, cross-site tracking or social-media cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel), and we don't sell data.
Cookie categories
We use just two categories — the same ones you see in the consent banner.
Necessary
Always activeEnable core functions: signing in to your account, email verification, returning you to your page after login, and your language choice.
These cookies don't require consent because the site cannot function without them.
Analytics
Consent requiredGoogle Analytics 4 visit statistics and Microsoft Clarity anonymised session replays — they help us understand how the site is used and improve it.
These cookies are off by default and are set only after you consent.

These are set by the Rūbas site itself. They do not track you on other websites.

Analytics cookies (only with consent)
The tools below load only after you press "Accept" in the consent banner. Until then, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent.
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) collects aggregated visit statistics: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, how long visits last. Full IP addresses are not stored.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd) creates anonymised session replays and click heatmaps showing how the site is used. Typed text and sensitive fields are masked by default — we see behaviour, not the person.

Retention: Clarity session recordings are kept for about 30 days; aggregated analytics data for up to 14 months.
We use no advertising cookies
Rūbas runs no ad networks, cross-site trackers or social pixels. If that ever changes, we would ask for your consent first and update this page.
Managing your choices
Non-essential cookies are under your control, and you can change your decision at any time:
- Via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer — it reopens the consent banner.
- Via your browser settings — you can block or delete cookies that were already set.
If you withdraw consent, we stop setting new analytics cookies. Previously set Google or Microsoft cookies can be deleted in your browser. Declining analytics does not limit your use of the site in any way.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. We'll announce significant changes on the site, and the date at the top of this page always shows the latest revision.
